This original village farm house needed to be completely refurbished with a new copper roof, staircase and flooring throughout.

 

To increase light, yet keeping the original shuttered windows, artificial and natural light giving sources were introduced throughout the house.

 

Original features were incorporated into the design and used as accents such as pieces of the stone wall framing the staircase.

 

Heat efficiency was increased by renewing all insulation and adding under floor heating.
